Acoustic survey and proposal for improvement solutions for the internal acoustics of the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena

It was an exciting experience to evaluate the acoustics of the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena. The particular shape of the museum hall and its large size penalize the internal acoustics of this wonderful exhibition. An acoustic survey of the room was carried out and some improvement solutions were proposed

Acoustic climate assessment of the variant project of the S.S. 1 Aurelia at Capo Noli (Sv)

The project for the construction of the variant of the route of the S.S. n.1 Aurelia near Capo Noli (Sv) involved the forecast assessment of the acoustic impact. The project for the construction of the new Malpasso tunnel included the following activities: acoustic monitoring of the Via Aurelia and modelling of the area using the Predictor forecasting software with which the acoustic impact of the work was assessed. Finally, the acoustic impact of all construction site areas was assessed

 

Acoustic design of the new Piaggio Aero plant in Villanova d’Albenga (Sv)

The project to move the Piaggio Aereo production site involved the acoustic study of the new plant at Villanova di Alberga airport. The studio took care of the acoustic modelling of the new building and all the sound sources planned to be installed. An extensive measurement campaign was carried out on all the plants and machinery present in the Finale Ligure headquarters and planned to be moved, useful data for acoustic modelling. Valutazione di impatto acustico della nuova Centrale a biomasse in Fusine (Sondrio)

The construction of the new biomass plant planned in the municipality of Fusine (So) involved a forecast study of noise impact. The modelling of the sources provided in the plant, the study of acoustic insulation solutions on the most significant sound sources, and the implementation of acoustic mitigation works, have made it possible to comply with the regulatory limits in the acoustic field. Acoustic impact assessment of the Enipower industrial area in Mantua

The project for the expansion of the current district heating plant of the Enipower plant in Mantua included, both in the design phase and in the operation phase of the same, the acoustic impact assessment. The study dealt with both the phonometric measurements for the sampling of all the sound sources present in the Enipower area and the acoustic modelling of the entire site, including the entire surrounding residential area.

 

Acoustic climate assessment of the new methane gas extraction plant in Ponzano di Fermo (Ap)

The construction of the new methane gas extraction plant planned in the municipality of Ponzano di Fermo (AP) involved a forecast study of the acoustic impact that the plant would have on the surrounding environmental context. The modelling of the sources planned on the plant, the study of acoustic insulation solutions on the most significant sound sources, and the implementation of acoustic mitigation works, have made it possible to comply with the regulatory limits in the acoustic field

 

Acoustic monitoring of Perugia minimeter

Measurement campaign on the movement systems of the minimeter of Perugia. Acoustic measurements were carried out inside the plant room in order to determine the sound power of the handling engines and acoustic measurements along the line to characterize the noise generated by the ropes and the transit of the trains.

 

Poople Moover Noise Impact Assessment Pisa

The construction of the new infrastructure connecting the railway station and the Galileo Galilei airport in Pisa involved the acoustic forecast study. An extensive measurement campaign was conducted to acoustically characterise the entire era and use this data for design acoustic modelling. With the help of the Predictor software, the three-dimensional acoustic model was created and all the design hypotheses were evaluated.

 

Acoustic consultancy for the Genoa Quezzi funicular

The construction of the new Genoa Quezzi infrastructure was the subject of a study and appraisal for the construction of a new system for the sliding of ropes in order to reduce the noise emissions generated by the movement of the system. The activity saw the synergistic collaboration of all the professionals involved in the civil lawsuit between AMT and private citizens. The new rope sliding system has led to a significant reduction in the noise generated by the system.

 

Acoustic design of Biella Piano lift – Biella Piazzo

The Biella funicular has been the subject of study and design for the creation of acoustic mitigation solutions for the noise emitted both by the sliding system of the plant and by the motors present in the top station. The activity involved the design of a new rope sliding system and the creation of acoustic canopies on the plant’s motion motors.

The adaptation of the congreto on quays 8-9-10 of the cruise terminal terminal of the port of Savona involved the use of machinery such as vibro-fixtures, pile drivers, cranes and large excavators that required acoustic monitoring of the construction site activity, as the residential buildings are not far from the construction site

Design and supervision of works of musical recording rooms and small auditorium at the “Villaggio del Ragazzo” – S.Salvatore di Cogorno (Ge)

The redevelopment of the spaces dedicated to mechanical workshops and carpentry have been converted into spaces for musical activities in the Villaggio del Ragazzo centre. The project led to the construction of a small auditorium (170 sqm) and two music recording rooms (30 and 36 sqm). The intervention in question involved both the internal soundproofing of the individual rooms and the acoustic insulation of the same.

 

Acoustic design and construction supervision of the theatre in Sori (Ge)

As part of the redevelopment of the area, the municipality of Sori has planned the complete renovation of the old theater that has been in disuse for several years. In agreement with the architectural designer, solutions for the acoustic treatment of the environment were studied in such a way as to also meet the aesthetic needs of the room. With the help of Ramses, the acoustic model of the project theatre was created and the proposed technical solutions were evaluated.

 

 

Acoustic study of the Teatro Cantero in Chiavari (Ge)

The development of a degree thesis in acoustics and conservative restoration included the study of the Cantero Theatre, creating the three-dimensional acoustic modelling of the same and all the appropriate acoustic surveys. Current and advanced measurement techniques have allowed an acoustic survey and an in-depth and detailed data analysis, useful for modeling and evaluating design hypotheses. Acoustic impact assessment of the Teatro degli Impavidi in Sarzana (Sp)

The reopening of the Historical Theatre of the Fearless in Sarzana included the acoustic impact assessment for the activities and events planned therein;  The activity of the undersigned also involved the audio tests inside the theater in order to verify the characteristics of the audio system installed in the theater.

Soundproofing project and construction supervision of the new headquarters of the C.Colombo Philharmonic in Santa Margherita Ligure (Ge)

On the ground floor of a school building, the new headquarters of the Philharmonic of Santa Margherita Ligure C.Colombo has been planned. In order to create spaces with high sound insulation from the adjacent rooms and from the outside and adequate internal acoustic comfort, the studio took care of both the acoustic design and the construction supervision during the execution phase.
